Step 4: Analyzing Agent Data

Written by Jaclyn Curtis

Alsona shows performance in three places, and they answer different questions.

The agent's Intent Signals tab: is the agent finding the right people?

Open any agent and the first tab is Intent Signals. The four counters across the top are a funnel, and reading them in order tells you where an agent is stuck.

The four-stage funnel. Each number is a filter on the one before it.

Stage

What it counts

If this number is low

Signals detected

Raw buying signals the agent found

Your signal sources are too narrow, or too specific to your ICP. Switch on more sources.

High-intent companies

Companies where the signals add up to real intent

The signals you chose do not correlate with buying. Change which sources are on, not how many.

Identified prospects

Decision-makers found at those companies

Your Targeting job titles are too narrow, or the companies are too small to have that role.

Pushed to outreach

Prospects that cleared the outreach threshold

Your outreach threshold is set too high. This is the most common cause of a busy-looking agent that sends nothing.

Below the funnel, Breakdown by signal source shows detected, contacted, reply rate, and positive replies for each of the nine signal categories. This is the most useful table in the product. It tells you which kinds of signal actually turn into conversations for your offer, which is not something anyone can tell you in advance.

The agent's Workflow tab: is the sequence working?

The workflow canvas shows live counters under every step: completed in green, failed or skipped in red.

Per-step counters on a live workflow. The red number on "Post a comment" shows most prospects skipped that step.

A large red number is not necessarily a problem. A comment step will skip anyone with no recent post to comment on. A large red number on Invite to connect is a problem, and usually means the sender has hit its daily limit or LinkedIn is throttling it.

The account dashboard: how is everything doing together?

Dashboard in the left nav aggregates across all agents for a date range you choose. It shows signals, contacted, accepted, reply rate, and positive replies, plus a reply sentiment split and full LinkedIn and email activity breakdowns.

Use this for reporting. Use the per-agent tabs for diagnosis. You can also filter by sender.

Other Key Metrics to Track

This dashboard includes all the metrics you need to evaluate the effectiveness of your agent.

The top success indicators include:

  • Connection Rate

  • Reply Rate

  • Sentiment Analysis (Positive, Neutral, Negative)

Benchmarks to Aim For:

  • Connection Rate: 30–40%

  • Reply Rate: 15–25%

  • Positive Sentiment Rate: 70–80%

What to Do if Metrics Are Low

If your agent isn’t hitting benchmark performance, it may be time to revisit your approach. Consider the following:

  • Targeting:

    • Are the leads qualified?

    • Are they relevant to your offer or audience?

  • Messaging:

    • Is it clear, concise, and compelling?

    • Does it avoid being overly salesy?

    • Are you speaking directly to their pain points or interests?

  • Credibility:

    • Is your LinkedIn profile well-optimized?

    • Does your company page build trust?

Even small tweaks can result in meaningful lifts in engagement.

Turning Insights into Action

Your agent dashboard isn't just a report — it’s a roadmap for growth.

Use it to:

  • A/B Test new messaging strategies

  • Double down on high-performing workflows

  • Scale successful agents with more contacts

  • Understand sales cycles and buyer behavior

Iterate, Optimize, Grow

The more agents you run and review, the sharper your strategy becomes. Don’t be afraid to test, adapt, and evolve — it’s the secret to long-term outbound success.

That’s it! You’re now ready to launch, engage, and optimize with Alsona.
