What is needed to set up a white-label account

Written by Jaclyn Curtis

Alsona’s white-label capabilities make it easy to customize the platform so your clients see your brand, not ours. Whether you’re an agency, reseller, or software provider, you can apply your logo, colors, and branding while maintaining full control over user management and integrations.

1. Apply Your Logo and Brand Colors

Step 1: Upload your logo

  1. Go to Settings → Branding.

  2. Click Upload Logo and select your image (PNG or SVG recommended, up to 5 MB).

  3. Your logo will automatically replace the Alsona icon in the dashboard, login page, and client emails.

Step 2: Customize your brand palette

  1. In the same Branding tab, select your Primary and Accent colors.

  2. These colors are applied across buttons, links, and dashboard highlights to match your company’s look.

  3. Preview your theme before saving to ensure good visibility and contrast.

💡 Pro tip: Keep contrast high for accessibility — dark text on light backgrounds and vice versa.

2. Add a Custom Domain or Subdomain

You can make Alsona look like it’s your own SaaS product by hosting it on your own domain.

  1. Go to Settings → Custom Domain.

  2. Enter your subdomain (e.g., app.youragency.com).

  3. Update your DNS with the CNAME record provided.

  4. Once verified, your clients will log in directly via your branded URL.

SSL certificates are handled automatically for security.

3. Integrate with Other Tools via API

Alsona provides an open API so you can integrate client agents, analytics, or billing with your existing systems.

Example uses:

  • Sync agents from your CRM or client portal

  • Auto-create new client senders when you onboard a new customer

  • Fetch analytics data for custom dashboards

To access the API:

  1. Navigate to Settings → API Access.

  2. Generate an API key for your account.

  3. View the full API documentation link for endpoint details and rate limits.

Common integrations include HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zapier, and webhooks for Slack or Discord alerts.

4. Create Admin Roles for Your Team

Managing multiple clients requires a clear role structure.
In Settings → Team Management, you can:

  • Create new team roles (e.g., Admin, Campaign Manager, Support).

  • Assign permissions for each role — such as creating agents , editing users, or viewing analytics.

  • Invite teammates by email.

Each admin or manager can oversee assigned client accounts without accessing others, keeping operations clean and secure.

5. Customize Client Dashboards (Optional)

For higher-tier agency plans, you can also:

  • Add your own favicon and email signature template

  • Replace the default dashboard illustrations with your own

  • Adjust welcome text or onboarding steps for your clients

This ensures that from login to analytics, your clients experience a fully branded platform.

6. Maintain Your Brand Identity at Scale

With your white-labeled setup:

  • All client communication appears to come from your agency

  • Users access your custom domain and visuals

  • You retain control of all users, agents, and senders

Alsona simply powers it all behind the scenes — so you can focus on growth and client success.
