A sender is a sending identity: one LinkedIn account, one email account, or both. Agents send on behalf of senders, so the number of senders you have sets the ceiling on how much outreach you can do. In billing these are still counted as seats.
Step 1: add the seat to your subscription
Go to Billing and increase the number of seats on your plan, then save. You cannot create a sender you have not paid for.
Each additional sender is $59/month, and will share the pool of account AI credits.
Step 2: connect the account
Go to Senders and click Add sender in the top right. Alsona asks whether you are connecting LinkedIn or email. Connect both if you can. LinkedIn opens conversations, and email is where prospects reply once the conversation is real.
Connecting LinkedIn. You enter the email address and password for the LinkedIn account. You also choose proxy settings, either a predefined proxy where you pick a country and city, or your own custom proxy. Pick the location the account normally logs in from. A London account suddenly appearing in Singapore is exactly the pattern LinkedIn looks for.
Connecting email. Choose Google or Microsoft and complete the sign-in. There is no SMTP option.
Only connect accounts you have explicit permission to use.
Step 3: set the limits
Open the sender and you will see its LinkedIn settings: connection count, whether it has Premium or Sales Navigator, its SSI score, and an account health reading.
Sender settings. Values above the recommended safe limit are flagged in red.
There are ten daily limits. The simplest thing you can do here is turn on Auto-scale.
It applies Alsona's recommended safe limits and adjusts them as the account warms up. If Auto-scale is off you will see a banner saying you are not using recommended values, and any limit set above the recommendation is shown in red.
Limits vary by plus or minus 10 percent so the activity does not look mechanical.
Adding a teammate instead
If the LinkedIn account belongs to someone else and you would rather not handle their password, invite them first. Click your account name at the bottom left, choose Invite your team, enter their email, and send them the invite link. Once they join you can assign a sender to them.
There are four roles. Admin has full access. Editor can edit agents and settings. Billing sees billing and invoices. View is read-only.
Good practice
Add senders before you build agents. Assigning them afterwards means editing every agent.
Warm a new LinkedIn account for a week or two before pointing an agent at it. See "How to Prepare Your LinkedIn Account Before Connecting".
Check account health on your senders monthly. Moderate risk is a signal to lower limits, not to push harder.
