Removing a sender takes two steps in two different places. First you remove the sender from the account it's connected to. Then you remove the seat from billing in your agency dashboard. If you only do the first step, the seat stays on your plan and you'll keep getting billed for it.
Before you start
Check which agents are using the sender. Every agent needs at least one sender to run, so if this is the only sender on an active agent, add a different sender to that agent (or pause it) before you remove this one.
Step 1: Remove the sender from the account
Log in to Alsona and pick the account the sender belongs to from the account picker. If you're already inside another account, use Switch account in the menu at the bottom left.
Click Senders in the left navigation.
Find the sender you want to remove and open the actions menu on its row.
Click Remove sender and confirm.
The sender is now disconnected from that account and won't send any more LinkedIn or email activity.
Step 2: Remove the seat from billing
Go back to your agency dashboard. You can get there from the account picker.
Open Billing.
Find the seat count for the account you just removed the sender from and lower it by one.
Save your changes and confirm.
Your next invoice will reflect the lower seat count.
Good to know
You need the Admin or Billing role to change seats. Editors and View users can't.
Removing a sender doesn't delete the account or its agents. Only the sender connection goes away.
If you want to swap one sender for another, skip step 2. Remove the old sender, connect the new one in the same account, and the seat carries over.
